Forbidden Thoughts Empty
PostSubject: Forbidden Thoughts   Forbidden Thoughts EmptyMon Jul 02, 2012 6:25 pm

Anastasia quickly went through the last of her files, unable to help the slight rushing pace she'd picked up over the course of the last half hour of her shift. Try as she might, she'd been unable to suppress the ever-growing excitement she'd been experiencing since the night she'd left Vanessa's office. She hadn't been at all successful with trying to sort out her emotions and how she was feeling about the entire situation either. There was no explanation for what she was feeling, and the only words she could possibly come up with, she was unwilling to accept. There was no way she could be attracted to a woman. It just wasn't possible. She, who had forever been into strictly men. She, who had been engaged to a male, up until six months ago. She, who wanted children and a family and had never before even glanced at a woman in any sexual way. Twenty five years later and she was just experiencing this? Why? It didn't make any sense to her. None whatsoever. And even still, there were plenty of reasons why she should ignore her thoughts altogether. The main reasons being because one; this was insanity. And two; she didn't know what orientation Vanessa was, and she didn't plan on asking. Not that that was even something she could casually twist into conversation - "Oh, hey, how was your day? The weather's looking good today, right? Any new cases to work on? By the way, are you into women?" Yeah, she could just see that going over so well in her favor. She just simply had to keep telling herself that what she was feeling was absolutely nothing, it meant nothing, and she shouldn't be worrying about it anymore. She was just forging some sort of odd friendship with the woman she now knew as Nessa.

Stuffing a couple more files neatly into the bin next to her computer, she exhaled in satisfaction when she realized she'd finished up. Removing the gloves that had adorned her hands, she quickly felt beneath the counter for her things. Her fingers grasped at her pocket-book first, and then the bag that held her change of clothes. She'd been unwilling to admit it to herself, but she wanted to look different for their little meet-up. Not in her scrubs, not in her normal, every-day wear. She also hadn't wanted to look like she was trying too hard, but she did change after her shift every night. So it wasn't like it would look like she'd changed just for the occasion. Which she wasn't. Just the particular outfit had been selected for the occasion. Wait.. no. It hadn't. Had she really just admitted that? At least it was only to herself. She was increasingly growing frustrated with the inner battle she was constantly having with herself, and she'd found herself wishing, more than once since their meet up, that she hadn't been the nurse that had been requested. Then, she wouldn't be dealing with these bothersome thoughts, and she would have just been able to continue on in her lonely little miserable life. Filled with devastation, broken hearts, and empty promises. She swallowed, shaking her head at the direction her thoughts were going in. She wanted to enjoy herself, regardless if she couldn't quite decide what was going on with herself, mentally. If anything, she wanted to make a good friend out of Nessa.

She quickly shed her scrubs off in one of the changing rooms of the staff building, adjusting the straps on her bra to get comfortable. Quickly she shimmied on the dress - which happened to be one of her favorites - before slipping the jean jacket on over it. Her small boots were shoved on in an effort to be quick. She didn't want to keep Nessa waiting; after all, it was sort of late into the evening already. She didn't think too many other people were still there, but that was fine by her. She didn't even know how long this meet-up was supposed to last, and while normally she'd be quite tired by the end of her shift, she felt wide-awake. She'd passed by Nessa occasionally in the hallways since their previous meeting, and all she'd been able to utter were the usual small talks. Hey, how's it going, talk to you later. It was pitiful! But that was the talk of co-workers. That was all she should have been doing, and yet she couldn't bring herself to care. She sprayed on some perfume, just so that it would be fresher. She'd already put some on in the morning, but it's scent had long since worn off. She rubbed some gloss on her lips so that she wouldn't chap them by biting on them in nervousness, and then shoved all over her belongings back in the bag she had. She continuously told herself she was not trying for any reason - besides, this was an outfit she'd normally wear. Just because it showed off some tanned skin of her legs didn't mean anything. Or did it? Nope, she refused to acknowledge at all that it did. She just wanted to be comfortable. That was what she was going with.

She decided to leave her hair pulled up and back out of her face, though she was sure through the course of their time together, it would end up down in a curtain around her shoulders. Because she played with her hair when thinking or when anxious, and god was she probably going to be doing a lot of both. With a final shrug she hurried from the changing rooms, heading toward the kitchens. She'd asked Nessa to meet her there so they could perhaps have a little snack while 'studying,' for she was a bit famished after her shift. It was odd, for two grown woman to technically be meeting up to 'study.' It seemed like anything but that, and it was almost strange to know that she had in fact brought some of Jacobsen's old files along, tucked neatly away in her pocketbook. She couldn't just very well show up without them though, even if she might have wanted to. Because they were technically the reason Ana was meeting up with Nessa in the first place. Taking a deep breath as she drew closer to the kitchens, she slowed her steps down as to not look like she'd been rushing, even if she had been. Even still, when she strolled through the door, she realized Nessa wasn't even there yet. Immediately, she relaxed a fraction. In fact, no one else was there. Shrugging, she wandered over to a table at random, collapsing down on one of the chairs as she placed her bags beneath it. Now, all she had to do was wait... and hope she hadn't foolishly shown up while Nessa had other ideas. She absently stretched out her legs in front of her, glancing upward at the ceiling in thought, humming a small tune to herself to pass the time.

Forbidden Thoughts Empty
PostSubject: Re: Forbidden Thoughts   Forbidden Thoughts EmptyMon Jul 02, 2012 7:19 pm

To say Vanessa's day had been less that productive would have been an understatement. She was sure had she been meeting anyone else after work that her mind would have been more receptive and less temperamental to tasks, but all she could think about was what she would wear, and whether Ana would actually be there, and various other questions that seemed of critical importance at the time. Ok so she was making mountain out of molehills. She was getting work done; slowly admitedly but she was getting it done nonetheless. Their meetings during the week had left a lot to be desired, but she figured that would mean their would be plenty to discuss on friday evening. Alone. Together. She cursed, another colourful explesitive falling from her pouty lips as she stormed across her office as though 'Ride of the Valkyries' was playing the background. She's spent the majority of the day in active group sessions, though she had managed to slot in her one on one session with Mr Kelmer, who's file she was currently nursing. He was an interesting case, but then again so were most of hers, she liked to snatch up the interesting ones, the difficult ones that required her to tackle new approaches. She sighed, a little relieved that though her mind was not wholly her own at the moment, that she was still able to do her job appropriately. Vanessa glanced up at the clock her eyes widening. She still needed to change. It was madness she knew, but she wanted to get a reaction from the woman; a reaction that wasn't appraisal of her taste in fashion. She wanted to bring her to her knees - however unprofessional it was.

She closed the blinds of her office window and carefully prised her body out of the top and trouser ensemble she'd worn to work this morning; folding them quickly and placing them on her desk. She sighed, the cool air eliciting goosebumps across her skin, before picking up the tight fitter grey jersey dress, and pulling it over her head. It was something you couldn't tell she might have changed into, but it always had an effect, glossing over her body, revealing every curve she had. She smiled picking up the belt and looping it daintly around her waist, before pulling her hair free of the clips that had held it in place all day, and fluffing it gently, before shaking it out. Ok so she was almost ready. She hurried across to the mirror and pulled out a chapstick, smoothing the balm across her pink lips and then smacked them together. Vanessa vetoed the perfume, preferring the idea of Ana enjoying her natural scent. She paused. When had this become a date? It was just a study session. She snorted, meeting her eyes in the reflection of the mirror. Just. A. Study. Session. Nothing more. She nodded at her reflection, smiling widely to check her teeth, and then turned her back and walked away, picking up her bag and her notes and then left the room quickly not wanting to arrive late and miss the brunette. The brunette who had barely been off of her mind since their chance meeting at the beginning of the week. She crinkled her nose as she neared the lift, and pressed the button, tapping her foot impatiently as she waited for it to arrive. She was reading way to much into it. She probably wasn't even interested in her, probably thought their banter just that. Banter. How humiliating would it be if Ana realised she had a.. crush? interest? She frowned, it dissapearing altogether as the lift pinged and the doors opened.

By the time the doors opened Vanessa was feeling an uneasy feeling making itself known in the pit of her stomach. What if she thought her overdressed? What if she'd seen her earlier outfit and realised she'd changed? She groaned, exiting the lift and headed towards the kitchen, pushing her sluggish legs forward. She should have worn tights. It was too late for that now. Or was it? She could go upstair and then... No! She'd waited all week for this and now she was going to see Ana and... and decipher that blasted Nurse Jacobsen's writing. She shook her head and laughed. Why was she nervous? She was Vanessa McAdams. People were nervous of her, not the other way round. She laughed softly as her inner monologue and continued walking a little more confidently this time, her strides bigger and stronger. It wasn't long before she reached the kitchen and taking a deep breath to compose herself pushed the door open.

"Ana." She called, surprised at how level and calm her voice sounded. She walked further into the kitchen and called again. "Ana?" He voice sounded more feeble this time. Defeated almost. She hadn't turned up. She turned round to make her way out and stoped where she stood. Her eyes drifted down the form of her colleague and she visibly swallowed before a wide smile appeared on her face, the humming registering with her. "Ana... you look wonderful." Well that wasn't something she'd planned on saying, but she decided women said that all the time and nothing much could be read into it. She walked across, her heels clicking the entire way and placed her things on the large table. "How have you been?" She asked, her tummy rumbling softly. "I'm rather glad we agreed to meet here. I haven't eaten a thing all day." She laughed, "Well apart from a peach." She amended, lifting a hand to ruffle her hair. "Thank you again for meeting me, I understand friday evenings are something of a social affair... I'll try not to dissapoint." She smirked, wandering around so she stood slightly closer to the brunette nurse. She smiled softly and waited for a reaction at the proximity. Vanessa truly didn't mean to push at boundaries, but Ana brought it out in her.

Forbidden Thoughts Empty
PostSubject: Re: Forbidden Thoughts   Forbidden Thoughts EmptyMon Jul 02, 2012 10:34 pm

As Ana sat there, as patiently as one could muster when looking forward to something, she realized she'd been in such a rush that she hadn't even taken the time to check her make-up. It was for sure smudged everywhere and probably practically non-existent after such a long day! Her first instinct was to hop up and immediately shuffle to the bathroom in hopes of being able to correct the disaster before Nessa showed up. But then, she realized, if she did show up and she wasn't there, then she would think she'd been stood up. And that was the last thing Ana wanted, and so with a heavy sigh, she slowly leaned back in her seat again. Of course, she'd wanted to look better than usual, but why was she even trying so hard anyhow? There was no reason for it. For the change of outfit, for the fretting over her ensemble, for any of it. Because she didn't like women. She liked men, and this was simply a meeting of two co-workers. If she kept telling herself that, then eventually she'd have to believe it, right? It could only be that easy? She wished, more than ever, that was the case. Not because she had anything against Nessa, obviously it was the complete opposite. But she was not handling the new information she was learning about herself well at all. But who could blame her? It was so new, so frightening, and such unchartered territory that anyone in her predicament would be just as confused. Some probably wouldn't even have handled it half as swiftly as she'd been managing to, or that was how she liked to think.

She went back to analyzing the ceiling tiles, counting each one of them carefully to preoccupy herself. She didn't want to have any time to think, any time to freak herself out. Nessa was going to show up, the initial nerves would explode throughout her body, and then it would be finished. She'd pull out the files, she'd calmly explain the hints she'd learned to decode Jacobsen's writing, and then they'd go their separate ways. Nothing more, nothing less, nothing in between. The tip of her tongue began to roll over her bottom lip, the taste of her lip gloss fresh on her taste-buds. She was so wrapped up in her own little world that when she was called the first time, she didn't even hear it. So of course, she didn't acknowledge whomever it was calling out her name. She continued to gaze upward, legs stretched out in front of her, arms crossed lightly over her chest. The second time though, she was completely alert. The single syllable, coming from the voice she'd been itching to hear. "Nessa?" She replied almost immediately, not even thinking about it as she nudged her posture up a bit straighter. Her eyes immediately seeked out the blonde, wondering why there'd been a question to her tone. Had she already called out to her, and she'd ignored her by accident? It seemed that way, with the unsure way the woman was positioned near the exit. Slowly, almost as if she wasn't sure what else to do, she lifted a single hand in a small wave. She felt a small crash of guilt, but quickly chased it away. She'd shown up! And now that she was aware.... Nessa looked absolutely breath-taking. She felt extremely dressed down in comparison, and she quickly glanced down toward her own outfit with a frown. It was obviously much too late to want to change now, so instead she just let her eyes return to the sight they'd much rather be on. Every single curve about her was brought to Ana's attention, and it took her a moment to even realize she was staring, appreciating the sight in front of her. Her brown eyes snapped to Nessa's face, almost sheepishly, her cheeks heating up immediately. But who could blame her? It was almost as if she'd worn such a thing on purpose, just to mess with her! But no... Nessa would never know such information. Because Ana was technically supposed to not be into women.

A smile was instantly on her face, despite the fact she'd probably been caught openly gaping, and she could feel herself swelling with obvious pride when her appearance was complimented. It's just out of courtesy she found herself thinking, even if she wanted to assume otherwise. "Thank you," She began, her voice slightly breathier then she would have liked, again licking her lips in order to gain some more courage to speak without her voice wavering. "You look equally wonderful." That word didn't even begin to cover it, but she couldn't burst out with the words gorgeous or stunning or breath-taking like she wanted to. That would be crossing over boundaries she wasn't even sure she had. Just the way Nessa was pronouncing her name had her body alight in this warmth she couldn't quite explain, but she battled it away aggressively. It was just a greeting and a freaking compliment. Like really? Her heart only proceeded to leap up into her throat the closer Nessa got, and once she was lingering near the table, Ana's initial reaction was to stand up. But she didn't, instead casually inclining her head backward so that she could better view her company for the night. Even more gorgeous up close. Stop it. She commanded instantly. "I've been.. well." She mused, choosing her words carefully. She was surprised she hadn't started tripping over her own tongue just yet, though she desperately hoped that wouldn't happen anytime soon. She had to remain cool, calm, and collected at all times. "How about yourself?" She reversed the question, a small smile lingering on her lightly glossed lips. There was something covering Nessa's too, something that made them shine invitingly when the light hit them just right... FREAKING HELL, NO. NO. NO. She pretended everything was completely normal while her thoughts banged around in her brain. She chuckled softly when her choice of where to meet up was praised. "Same here, I figured it was the perfect place." She mused with a small shrug.

She did her best to continue to ignore the way the gray fabric of the woman's dress clung to just about every curve she had, focusing instead on her face and nothing else. It was easier than she had expected, thankfully. A single eyebrow arched at Nessa's next comment, and a genuine grin spread out across her lips. "No, thank you, Nessa," She charmed, her voice sweet and tossed with just a light amount of mischieviousness without being able to help it. "I'm going to hold you to that." She added playfully, a sly little smirk twisting along her lips as she looked up at the woman through half-lidded eyes. Toying with her. Wait.. what was she even doing? Realizing her actions she swallowed, eyes quickly flitting away. Was Nessa standing really close to her, or was that just her imagination? Eyes flickering up again, it was easy to see she was standing closer. What was that supposed to mean? As her eyes dropped again, she realized her attention was being pulled in the direction of Nessa's bare legs. Wanting to travel up the length of them..... hell. HELL. Hell. "Please, do take a seat. Relax." Her voice was suddenly out into the air, and she thanked that it didn't sound strange. Even though she was freaking out inside. Blindly, she stuck her hand in one of her bags, hoping to grab the files. Anything to distract herself from the flustering thoughts.

Forbidden Thoughts Empty
PostSubject: Re: Forbidden Thoughts   Forbidden Thoughts EmptyTue Jul 03, 2012 1:06 pm

The shiver that ran down her spine as Ana said her name was thankfully not to pronounced; Vanessa after all, did want to retain at least some of her dignity. She beamed, not at all worrying whether Ana noticed just how happy she was. It could of been anything causing her to smile like that, though the idea of smiling when she would be spending the next few hours reading over Jacobsen's illegible writing seemed unlikely at the least. She watched with a bemused smile as Ana's eyes raked over her form and Vanessa became immediately self-concious; scrutinised, as if Ana was shining her under a bright light. Hadn't this been what she'd wanted? She supposed it was, but she wanted to know what she thought. Was she simply admiring her outfit, or was it more? Her jaw set in annoyance and frustration. Anastasia was straight, and it was about time she accepted that; though it couldn't hurt to indulge in a little appreciation of the woman's body. Though truth be told she had long bypassed a little appreciation, and she felt her cheeks heat, cringing slightly at the thought of her colleague ever knowing that she had, had less than inappropriate thoughts... and dreams. She shook her head a little, as if to remove the thoughts by sheer force. She turned back to face the nurse, their eyes locking together for a brief moment before they both looked away. God! She was probably making her extremely uncomfortable. Way to go V, bloody success there. She continued to cluck away at herself for a while, effectively missing the blush that had risen in Ana's cheeks; and a good thing to, else she would have spent the evening overthinking that too.
Vanessa took a deep breath and dragged her chair around to the other side of the table so that she could sit beside the brunette. Purely so she could see Jacobsen's notes of course and sat down swiftly, crossing her legs, her dress rising up a fraction to reveal more soft, milky skin. She looked down quickly debating whether or not to tug it down but as usual became distracted, her eyes guiltlessly admiring the tan skin Ana had on show. She inhaled audibly, her blinking becoming more prominent, had it always been this hot in here? Her mind was playing tricks on her she decided, raising her head, her hair falling to one side to expose her neck, she bristled at Ana's comment and let her mouth tug upwards in a smile. "Thank you, Anastasia." She returned the sentiment, her eyes fixed on the woman's damp lips.

She quickly busied herself with pulling out a few books and files, followed by pens, highlighter and notepads. All instruments required for a study session, or whatever this meeting was. "Oh." She exclaimed, noticing the lightly tinted blue papers slotted in between two documents. "This is just some more information on the study, just logistics mainly but useful to have." She smiled, handing them across, not caring this time if their hands did touch. It was after hours and... and nothing, they were still colleagues, but it couldn't hurt to enjoy a little harmless flirting. The usual electric spark ran up her fingertips and buzzed through her body, further unravelling her control. Her breath caught in her throat. This was so wrong. She was here for Jacobsen. Jacobsen and her ruddy handwriting; her handwriting that had caused all of this. She frowned her lips pursing as she turned her attention back to Anastasia. Well? What did that mean? It sounded as if the rest of her sentence was missing. I've been, well... extremely good. I've been, well... not good at all. She groaned, why did this even matter. Maybe because you actually care? Vanessa ground her teeth. It was like she was suddenly two people. Two people in one body. Two very annoying people who refused to work together. She wondered how noticeable it was, and attempted to distract her self by rotating her ankle as she pieced together an answer. "Oh, that's wonderful to hear. I've been rather good." Came her response, betraying nothing of the inner struggle that had denoted her entire week. "Work has been.. well work." She laughed, slowly drawing lazy patterns on the table. "Mr Kelmer is being particulary difficult. I'm sure you know him; he's the loud one. Schizophrenia, an unloving father... latent homosexuality. Just textbook stuff really." She lightly smirked, her fingernails gently scraping the surface of the wooden worktop.

She tried to ignore the little flutter and squeeze her heart gave when Ana said her name but it proved futile and so for the first time in their meeting she gave up. "I was hoping you'd hold it against me." She mumbled quietly, the words so low she was certain the nurse would not hear. She beamed brushing a stray wisp of her from her cheek. Her gaze fell to Ana's long legs, long shaply legs that presumably ended somewhere and... "ahem, so uh where would you like to start?" She coughed out, her throat hoarse as if no water had touched her lips in days; but visible relief drenched her as she noticed the brunette begin to pull out files. How had a few chance meetings with this woman turned her into a stupid stuttering schoolgirl, with a tell all crush. This was so embarrassing.

Nothing much of Ana's inner turmoil so far was evident to Vanessa, she was far to preoccupied trying to toe the line between what was acceptable and what was not. A losing battle on her part. She bit her lip, her teeth grazing the skin of her pouty bottom lip. "Ok, so do you wanna grab something to drink? Eat quickly?" She asked. Chocolate? Whipped cream? Cherries? Damn it! Mind out of the gutter McAdams. She stood up sharply, and walked across to the larder, bending down and unlocking the bottom latch to open the pantry. She smirked, it hadn't been her intention to bend over or maybe it had been. She could have tried the fridge after all, but it seemed even her subconscious was trying to mess with her. She was normally so cool and calm and collected. She was anything but around this woman. And she wanted to act on it, but it wasn't like if things went awry she could walk away and never see her again. She wasn't even sure if she liked women. The chances of such were slim to none anyway. Vanessa chuckled bitterly at her thought and actions and then stood up and jerked the door open, before turning round and leaning against the wall in a decidedly seductive manner. "So, what'll it be?" She asked with a cheeky smile. In for a penny in for a pound; after all even some of the things Ana was saying could be misconstrued... surely she could afford be a little risque? And just like that, all of a sudden Vanessa didn't feel so self-concious. She parted her legs a little and smiled sweetly. "Everything looks so, yummy."

Forbidden Thoughts Empty
PostSubject: Re: Forbidden Thoughts   Forbidden Thoughts EmptyTue Jul 03, 2012 6:24 pm

Ana did her best to appear nonchalant as Vanessa positioned her chair right next to her own instead of across, like two people at lunch might. Part of her wanted to think it was because the doctor wanted to be closer to her, but she knew how much of a joke that was. It was obvious she was only drawing herself closer so that she could effectively see the files she would be analyzing, nothing more. Although she could just hand the files over across the table... No. It was obviously easier to explain this way rather than having to stretch across the entire table to do so. Why did she keep trying to make up reasons as to why Nessa might want to be closer to her? It didn't make any sense. It was like her mind did whatever it wished to on it's own without her consent. If it wished to think thoughts it'd never before experienced, then it did. If it wanted to think of Nessa in all the ways it shouldn't have, it did. If it wanted to probe and prod and question and annoy Ana with questions she couldn't seem to answer, well, it had been set on doing that too. The woman who had once such a hold on not only herself, but her thoughts and what consumed them, now had little to no control, all because of one simple meeting. It just didn't seem fair, for her to be going through such confusing thoughts while Nessa probably wasn't effected in the least. It couldn't have taken the blonde more than a couple of seconds to situate herself, but Ana was extremely aware of every movement that was being made next to her. And when she thought she was helping herself by looking down at the floor, she was wrong. Because suddenly, Nessa's bare legs were stretching out into her field of vision and instantly she felt as if all the air in her lungs were being vacuumed out. She desperately tried to glance elsewhere, but it was too late. Her heart rate had already quickened, and she wanted to curse herself. Although the skin did look awfully silky smooth to the touch... Just, no. Damn.

Again, being entirely focused on her own battle left her little time to notice or even realize Nessa seemed to be experiencing similar emotions, right down the the obvious way she was acting. While Ana, on the other hand, did her best to hide what she was feeling altogether. She didn't need her confusion brought out into the light, in fact, it hardly had any need of roaming around inside of her head anymore. She didn't like women, she'd never liked women, she wasn't attracted to them, and that was all there really was to it. She was only feeling confused because... well. That, she didn't have a reason for. She didn't have a single reason for the way her body reacted, or how happy she'd been for the night to come. Maybe she could have blamed it on loneliness? But it wasn't like she didn't have any friends to turn to. Loneliness it is. She decided anyhow. It was much easier that way than admitting to herself that it could possibly be anything else. She was suddenly being thanked, and the emphasis put on her full name was enough to send a tremor down her spine. She absently bit her lower lip, doing her best to ignore the reaction entirely. Loneliness, loneliness, loneliness. If she just kept repeating it, kept imprinting it into her brain, she'd eventually have no choice but to believe it. "You're very welcome, Vanessa." She returned after a pause, unable to help herself. She knew she was just playing with fire and she would more than likely end up burned, but she seemed to forget her place and who exactly she was whenever Nessa was around. Whether that was good or bad, she'd yet to decide. Probably more along the lines of bad, which was quite unfortunate.

Luckily, she didn't seem like the only one that had attempted to come prepared. She observed as her 'student' pulled out various objects that might be of use to her throughout the night. Glancing up and away from the supplies when she heard Nessa's excalmation, she watched the woman questioningly until she was handed a blue paper. Her eyebrows pulled together in confusion but she slowly reached out, her fingertips brushing along the surface of the paper as she took it from the woman's grasp. That wasn't the only thing that her fingertips brushed against though, and her first initial reaction was to retract her hand quickly, almost like she'd been burned. Her attention lingered on the information in front of her instead, taking it all in quite slowly as she willed her hand not to begin shaking. She'd also come here that night with the intentions of having her requested answer for what Nessa had informed her about during their last meeting. Her initial answer still remained, even as she continued to do her best to think of every possible aspect of it. Still, the job seemed like a promising one, and good things could come out of it! Good things besides being closely linked to Nessa for all of that time. "Oh, okay. Awesome." She replied, eyes still skittering across the page in her grasp. Her attention stayed strictly on the piece of paper for probably a minute more than it actually had to, still trying to ignore how she'd felt just by simply brushing past the woman's soft skin. It had only made her curious as to how soft the skin covering her legs were.. nope. Stopping there. Who cares how soft? Not like it mattered or anything to her.

Finally, she lowered the colorful paper in order to re-direct her brown eyes toward Nessa's, listening as she explained how she'd been. She knew her answer wasn't the most convenient, and by no means detailed, but she couldn't help it. Talking about herself, to anyone, about anything, was always a difficult task for her. She'd much rather listen about others than boast about herself, because really. If they wanted to know her so damn bad, it was a task they could do themselves without any help from her. Alright, maybe not without any assistance... if Nessa asked questions, she knew she was bound to answer them. Even if she'd like to think she wouldn't. She nodded slightly, a quick smile appearing when she heard that Nessa had been good. "Hm, only good? Not spectacular? Fantastic?" She teased lightly, her teeth grazing her lower lip without even thinking about it. Another nod to show she understood completely when it came to working. The name of the patient did ring a bell, and she began humming thoughtfully as she tried to picture his face. "Hmmm...." And then the words latent homosexuality were out of Nessa's mouth and Ana was only left to stare at her, slightly dumbfounded. Instantly, her cheeks were flushing again, and all because she'd heard the damn term that might or might not have sneakily sounded a lot like herself... Wait. Did Nessa know? Was she hoping for a reaction? Was she? Completely flustered, she nearly dropped all of the files in her hands. Like her fingertips were suddenly coated in butter. She was relieved when one did slide from the top of the file and fall beneath the table, giving her a quick reason to duck from sight. "Oh.. yeah. Just textbook stuff." She managed to mumble, the excuse of being under the table the reason why her voice was muffled. Except that wasn't the case. No, she was just extremely flustered and she needed every excuse possible to hide it. This. Was. Terrible!

As she came up from beneath the table, skillfully avoiding anything her eyes might have wanted to linger upon, she placed the files down on the table a bit too hard, exhaling slowly. "Almost hit my head," She tried to explain her behavior, but that wasn't true. Not even close. "Files just jumping out of my hands." Almost nervous giggle. And as if what she'd just said wasn't bad enough, Nessa's next words were enough to have Ana melting all over again. Why was she acting like this? Like a confused little school girl who didn't have any possible hold on her reactions? Maybe she ought to say she suddenly felt sick and get the hell out of here. Yeah, maybe... "That could be arranged, if you so wish." Her voice was strangely silky as it slid past her parted lips, and she could have killed herself right then and there. I did not just say that. I did not. DID. NOT. Oh, but you did. NO. Yes. The internal battle was growing stronger by the moment, and she honestly wasn't sure how much longer she'd be able to act as if nothing was happening. And their meeting had only just begun. This was terrible. Nessa. Speaking again.. did she sound strange too? Nah, it must have just been her mind playing tricks on her. Thankful for something to do, she picked one of the blue files and opened it. "I guess anywhere will do..." Wait. That sounded dirty. That sounded suggestive. SHUT UP.

She was nearly jumping up from her seat at the suggestion of food and a drink. "Sounds lovely!" She said almost a bit too enthusiastically, and she gave a distracted smile while running her fingers through her hair. She felt like she'd drank one too many red bulls, when she had not even a trace of anything relative to that running through her body. She followed behind Nessa slowly, all the way up until she bent over. Mother of god.... stare upward! Up! And so she did, humming along as quietly as possible. Why were her palms so sweaty? She rubbed them along the fabric of her dress, biting her lower lip in dismay. This was not going how she'd planned on it going, at all. She was losing her cool, which she never did. Why was this happening? And why did she almost feel as if Nessa was egging it on every time she looked at her? Was she against her? Did she enjoy driving her insane? Backing her into a corner where she was forced to face the truth? A rather sharp exhale left her body as she re-focused on the task at hand, relieved to see Nessa had straightened up. Ana wasn't sure if she'd preferred the old position or the new one though, because now the woman was leaning almost seductively against the wall, watching her in a way that was making her body come alive. And her words.... no. NO. She'd had enough. She was going to handle this, pleasantly, once and for all. There would be no more playing games, not with her on the losing team.

Her posture straightened, her confidence renewed as she brought her gait to a casual saunter, making a point to seem almost as if she were observing Nessa's body. A small, although devious little smirk had made it's home on her lips. Her eyes, finally, connected with Nessa's as she spoke. "Only a couple of things look yummy to me," She played, the tip of her tongue rolling over her bottom lip almost absently. Eyes still on Nessa, she finally made it over to the open pantry. Heart hammering in her chest, she bent forward to glance at the selection, the only time she let her eyes leave Nessa's. She was glad to see her hands weren't shaking as she made her choices, and with slow movements, she again leaned back. "All yours." She tossed, eyes glinting as she nodded toward the pantry. Some more eye-contact, another small smirk, before she was turning on her heel and strolling away again, back toward the table, hips swaying back and forth casually. As soon as her back was to Nessa she let her confidence drop from her expression, but not from her posture. What in the hell. What had she just done? Was she.. no. She wasn't doing anything. Oh, but she was. NO. NO NO NO. Slowly, she sat down, legs crossing as she placed her water and her pretzels on the table. Waiting for Nessa to return.

Forbidden Thoughts Empty
PostSubject: Re: Forbidden Thoughts   Forbidden Thoughts EmptySun Jul 15, 2012 7:13 am

A sensation quite unknown to Vanessa settled at the base of her spine, tightening her muscles until it reached her shoulders. She took a slow, steady breath and tried to loosen them. She might have thought the feeling nervousness, but she couldn't fathom why she might feel like that, she was never nervous in these situations. There was no policy against co-workers... doing things most coworkers didn't - so therein lay the question. What was she feeling? She tossed the thought to the back of her list of things to worry about and focused again on Ana, the way the bronzes of her hair made her eyes pop, and then how the dark lashes framed them so perfectly. Vanessa swallowed. What must Anastasia be thinking? She was sure she wasn't embarassing herself, but there was still some foreign territory; if only it was as simple as asking. Or kissing. Yes definitely the latter. SHH! Her mind usually her own, tonight seemed to be inhabited by a teenage girl. She groaned quietly and bit her lip, this whole ordeal would be that much better, easier, sweeter if Ana made a move; but then of course there was the issue of her not finding women sexually attractive. Why did that always have to be the way. Vanessa was always falling for unattainable women. To hell with that, unattainable or not her mind just had to get over it, her body had to deal with it because from the looks of it they would be spending the next few months in very close proximity to each other. She groaned softly again, why did her chest have to tighten at that thought, and the twisting in her stomach grow unbarebly bigger; she shuddered a breath and placed a smile on her face- though it wasn't that much of an effort at all and then her eyes naturally found Ana's and the heat rose in her cheeks, though for once she didn't look away. Perhaps she could indulge in her litle fantasy where Ana wasn't straight after all, as wishful as it sounded there were ways of testing the hypothesis which could of course lead to her own tomato red embarrassment or even better a night they might both remember. The latter sounds ridiculous V, just be professional. Oh spoilsport.

Vanessa was more acutely aware this time of something that seemed to be bothering Ana, it seemed almost as if she was having some internal conflict, then again it could be her response to the invasion of her space. Vanessa shook her head, no. They had been sitting much closer in her office, close enough to... Ok so are we just going to accept that my mind in now permately gutter bound? A light chuckle bubbled past her lips, tugging the corners of her mouth upwards. I suppose lying to herself was doing no good, and as long as Ana possesed no mindreading talent, her thought would stay as thoughts. For now at least. Vanessa sighed, she was sure of herself, she was sure of what she wanted. She liked men and women. Liked was a lacklustre term but it would suffice. She liked the soft feminine female form, she liked that women knew where to touch other women, she liked that she could reciprocate. Then there was the mutual respect - for the most part -, the conversations... relationships with women were often so much more than those she shared with men. She hummed quietly her hands reaching for her earlobes to massage a rhythm of patterns to quell the quiet burning desire that was now ebbing away at her. But then she just had to drop her gaze to Ana's legs, just had to roam them greedily, just wanted to see more. Her hand jerked to the side a little, an attempt to rest her palm on Ana's leg had be quickly aborted. STOP! Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Vanessa composed herself after a few moments but that crumbled as soon as Ana said her name. What on earth was the emphasis for? Flirtation or was she merely poking fun at Vanessa's crush? Ana after all was extremely intelligent, she had read her file - purely because she was thinking of taking her on for her study, nothing more; but yes she was extremely smart, so it wasn't altogether unlikely that she might have worked it out. Then again Vanessa couldn't imagine the woman wanting to take the mick out of someone who had... feelings? For her? She certainly had something, and there was a small part of her that believed Ana... no probably not, but she was having a good time and flirting as she assured herself was fun and harmless to engage in, so long as both parties were ok with such. Vanessa was very much ok with that.

Vanessa made sure to catch Ana's eyes, a devillish smirk made itself known as the paper was passed and then she looked away, ruffling her blonde mane and wetting her lips with a dart of her tongue; the sensation that rose up Vanessa's fingers was similar to that she had felt in her office only days before, but it seemed more potent. They were alone, no one was nearby and she had Anastasia all to herself. Vanessa felt her thighs tighten and she hastily thought of things to calm herself. Puppies, snowmen, walks in the park, candyfloss. She heaved a sigh and watched as Ana skimmed the pages. "Lovely!" Vanessa replied breezily, her eyebrows darting up in enthusiasm though Ana still continued to look at the page. "Well if you have any questions or... anything, well you know where I am." She added with a small smile, her fingers dancing patterns across the table as a way to distract herself from her thoughts until Ana was done reading the paper. Did it normally take that long? Surely not, but then everyone was different, Ana after all could have been attempting to memorise it all, or take as much in as possible. Vanessa couldn't help hoping she'd be done soon, she much preffered Anastasia paying attention to her, even though it set her body alight.

"Well my week has gotten miles better now." She allowed, her eyes dancing mischieviously, her words were not necessarily flirty but there was defnitely something there and soon she was laughing though that died as her eyes honed in on Ana's mouth, distracting as ever. She let out a long sigh, and masaged her shoulder to relieve the tension building there. God this woman was going to be the death of her. She watched Anastasia's reaction with intrigue, it had been just a topic of conversation but it had flown wonderfully in tune with a few thoughts and now Vanessa wanted to gage Ana's reaction. The silence surrounded the pair like a blanket and Vanessa immediately felt horrid, had she embarrassed herself; offended Ana, the slightly dumbfounded expression and blush of her cheek she couldn't fully appreciate because she was so very worried about having offended the brunette. She rested her head on her hand and continued to look at the woman, not wanting to give away her thoughts. She gasped a little when the file slipped beneath the table. Her mind of course became miles away from where it had been only moments before, because Anastasia was under the table. Under the table. And suddenly all the dirty thoughts she'd kept at bay hit her in one solid wave. She groaned, possibly louder than she would have liked and closed her eyes tight. "Mmm, oh yeah textbook stuff." She forced out, releasing a shaky breath before opening her eyes. Yes this woman was definitely out to kill her. It was like she knew she hadn't had a relationship or a decent shag for that matter in over a year. She swallowed and lightly adjusted her legs, waiting for Ana's head to pop up from beneath the table.

"Oh are you alright?" Vanessa asked, her words coated in concern as she reached out her hand to check Ana's head. "Bad files." She admonished with a smirk before brushing her hair behind her ears. The conversation continued and then... Vanessa spluttered, her eyes widening. Anastasia had heard what she'd said. But she'd been so quiet! Why did everyone at this hospital seem to have bat-like hearing? Her breathing quickened, her heart matching its pace and her face began to heat up; but then her mind returned to Ana's comment and it instantly calmed her. The silky, sultry tone, if she didn't know any better she would have thought the nurse was trying to seduce her. Vanessa leaned just a tinsy bit closer, her leg not so accidentally brushing against the other womans. "And how might I... arrange that?" She questioned with a wry smile, before wetting her lip again, her eyes never leaving Ana's dark brown orbs. Ok that had been - wow. She smiled so not give away her thoughts but they were running a mile a minute. One moment she'd been horrified and the next she was... well propositioning her coworker. But said coworker had offered. She shuddered, there could be some other explanation, perhaps a game. Like gay chicken. She'd played that in college, seen how far it could be taken before someone chickened out. She hoped to god that wasn't what was happening here. Anywhere will do. Well that certainly wasn't helping things because now all she could think about was how many positions they would be allowed on this breakfast bar. Five. Probably five, but that depended on how flexible and... Jesus Christ McAdams! "Well, I think right here; right now would work." Came Vanessa's reply, her hands softly gesturing to her table and the documents that were already littered across it. Oh damn this, she was definitely going to hell.

"Brilliant!" Vanessa chorused back, stepping away to let Anastasia get a better look at what was on offer. Truth be told she was sure that when she went to pick something to eat, nothing in the cupboard would sound as good as Anastasia. She exhaled audibly, letting her hands trace her frame simply for some way to elicit a response, something tangible from the woman that had occupied her thoughts all week. Vanessa shook her head to bring herself out of her reverie and tuned in just in time to see Ana straighten up and study her, like she was a piece of meat hanging at a butchers market. Vanessa smirked back, though Ana's was more devious, her own was more of an excited amusement, until she choked, her body flushing as she made her way across to the pantry to make her selection. Bending, why was there bending involved. Who said she could bend?! She groaned unabashedly, and pressed herself harder against the wall to avoid touching the woman and let out a relieved breath as she straightened up. "Thanks." She managed to grind out, angry at herself for being so obvious. Well. If it was a game they were playing, it was a game Vanessa would be winning. She hastily shut the larder door, bending slowly, exagerrating every movement as she locked a bolted the door again; before standing up and tossing a smirk over her shoulder. There were no obvious hip movement as she made her way over to the fridge, only strong, confident strides. Vanessa was in control here. That was always the way. She undid the clasp on the fridge and gently prised it open, peering inside and snatched up a bottle of iced tea, and then selected a box of mixed berries. Oh there was fun to be had here. She laughed softly, pushing the fridge shut with a flick of her hip and then walked back over to the table, her eyes never once straying from Ana's. She placed the things gingerly on the table and sat back down, leaning close to Ana. "Berry?" She offered, opening the plastic box and selecting a strawberry. She smiled innocently toying with the fruit before lifting it to her parted lip and taking a bite making sure to keep their gazes fixed. She sighed and mmm'd and made other innapropriate noises, before licking her lips to catch the juice. "Oh they're very good Ana, can't I... tempt you?" She asked, raising her eyebrow playfully.

Forbidden Thoughts Empty
PostSubject: Re: Forbidden Thoughts   Forbidden Thoughts EmptyThu Jul 19, 2012 12:43 am

Ana knew that eventually, her internal struggles would more than likely become external ones as well. And Nessa was a doctor, specialized in the art of how the human body and brain reacted and what it all meant. The moment any indication of her discomfort made itself known on her expression, she knew the blonde seated opposite of her would be made aware of it. Truthfully, that was the last thing she wanted, because how was she supposed to explain the random flushing of her cheeks, or the way her eyes lingered a bit too long on specific places? She had been doing pretty well about catching herself before any of her actions became too obvious, but with the direction things were quickly progressing in, she couldn’t see how she’d be able to be as discreet. It would have been so much easier if Nessa didn’t practically seem to be encouraging it. Each time Ana told herself it was nothing, she was just over-thinking everything, the woman before her had to go and say something highly suggestive, and the brunette’s mind was content in running off into the land of inappropriate scenarios. She refused to admit that she found the blonde rather attractive. Refused to admit she’d found herself appreciating the feminine form of her co-worker almost the entire time. She almost wished she could blame the struggle entirely on alcohol, or some other intoxicating substance, but she was as sober as she’d ever been. With thoughts that would make her grandmother blush swirling around in her mind. Christ. She couldn’t remember the last time she’d been subjected to such torture. Even when she’d met her ex-fiancée, she hadn’t had such explicit and somewhat mortifying thoughts. Then again, the only reason why she was feeling that way about what she was thinking was because Nessa was female. Otherwise, she would have seen nothing wrong with it. And there really wasn’t anything truly wrong with them now.. Besides the fact that she was straight. Or well, she was supposed to be, at the very least. Wait, what did she mean, supposed to be? She was. Yes, she just had to keep drilling that thought into her apparently very stubborn mind. The very mind that kept rejecting her plea of silencing all of it’s ridiculous paths of ideas. It should have been a crime to be experiencing such severe confusion. She almost wished there was a way to erase the negative emotion entirely from her being, but life was never that easy. She knew she’d have to sit through this as if nothing was affecting her. She’d have to grin and bear it, but that almost made being around Nessa sound like a chore. And it certainly wasn’t, it just made her feel and experience things she wasn’t okay with. As long as she doesn’t know, I’ll be okay. But she knew that wouldn’t last forever. Nessa was an extremely intelligent woman, especially to be where she was in her career at such a young age. She’d figure it out soon enough, and once that happened… Ana really wasn’t sure what she would do. Didn’t even want to think about it.

She took a breath, hoping to calm herself and the sudden burning sensation deep in the pit of her stomach. If she just focused on the actual task at hand, then everything would be perfectly alright. Although she wasn't entirely certain how she expected herself to concentrate on Jacobsen's bloody writing with one of God's special creations seated so close next to her. Close enough where she was able to see every detail about the blonde's face by simply just turning her eyes upward. Close enough where all she had to do was lean forward a couple of inches to..... No. Stopping there. Yeah, close enough to what, Ana? Her mind taunted, but she merely swallowed quickly, tempted to close her eyes until the droning voice in her mind went away. But it wouldn't, because it was relentless, and she knew she'd just have to learn how to mute it if she was going to enjoy her time with Nessa. Not that she hadn't been up to that very point, but she wanted to pay attention to her company, not the vexatious thoughts that insisted on polluting her brain. It shouldn't have been a hard task with all she was thinking, but it surprisingly was. Because she couldn't seem to let her gaze linger without a new thought sprouting and embedding itself into the tissues of the sensitive organ known as her brain. It was a frustrating process that she was losing against, and she was not at all enthused by it. She wanted; no. She needed to have all of the control back. She would not be satisfied until she had just that. It was just the matter of figuring out how exactly her goal could be achieved without letting all the inner turmoil break free into the cruel world. Through her entire internal debate, her eyes had been trained on the paper Nessa had previously offered her. Although it seemed like much longer, she'd been through the entire process in less than a minute. Her eyes were just moving off of the data she grasped when her company spoke up with obvious enthusiasm. She'd probably noticed just how long Ana had been looking at information that probably took any normal person no more than a second or two to drink in. No matter, she acted as if she'd done nothing out of the ordinary as she offered the piece of paper back to the woman by letting her fingertips slide over the glossy surface, encouraging the paper back in Nessa's direction. "That I do. Not something I could easily -- or willingly -- forget." She couldn't help but reply back, her tone teasing. Oh, god, why? Why did these flirtatious comments keep sliding off the tip of her tongue before she'd thought them through? That usually only happened to her when...... putting the breaks on that train of thought! She shook her head once, twice, casually making it seem like her actions were only to rid the strands of hair that had fallen into her eyes.

She allowed a small, although somewhat guarded smirk to tango onto her lips when Nessa's silky voice floated into her ears. The tone she'd used wasn't necessarily flirtatious or even suggestive, but it still had the gears in her brain churning within moments. Had she meant something by it? Or was she just playing along like they both seemed intent on doing for whatever reason? "Oh, is that so? Any particular reason as to why?" She returned, her voice mildly curious although laced with something else all at the same time. She couldn't help it, she continuously felt like these comments were somehow directed at her in a way that was intentionally supposed to get her thinking. And so she reacted in the only way she knew how to; by twisting it around to the person doing it to her. Nessa never previously seemed like the manipulating type... no. Manipulative was hardly the word to use, but she couldn't seem to single out a single one that would deem suitable. She hadn't been able to linger on the thoughts for long before she was dropping the files and having to dash beneath the table to gather them once more. Her heart was still pounding, and she was certain her cheeks were flushed. Why had that particular comment effected her so much? Well, she knew why, but refused to acknowledge it like everything else. Again, if she hadn't been so wrapped up by her own reactions she would have been very acutely aware of Nessa's. She was quite the observant person, but when it came to her company, it seemed like she could never stay focused long enough to even be slightly aware of what was happening opposite of her. Maybe it would have all made so much more sense if she had noticed, or maybe it would have just been twelve times more difficult to figure out. Not that she would ever figure it out in the first place, because there was nothing to figure out of course. Keep trying to tell yourself that, Ana. And she would. "Mmmhmmmm." She breathed, glad that the heat in her face was finally beginning to die down. Or maybe it wasn't, because the rest of her body was heating up to match her cheek's temperature. Wait, what?

She nodded once, quickly, although she couldn't help the small smile on her lips at Nessa's obvious concern. Although she immediately felt guilty for lying, but even still she found herself reaching to the top of her head to give it a light rub. If she was going to lie, she had to at least be semi-convincing. Her lower lip slid out into a slight pout without realizing it as she did so. "Yes. Bad files. I'm alright though." She said, completely zoning out the fact that Nessa had nearly reached out to touch her. She was sort of glad she hadn't though, because she wouldn't have been prepared and that reaction would have surely tossed away any of the control Ana currently had over the situation. She re-crossed her legs beneath the table, just for something to do, still feeling a bit breathless from the entire ordeal. All of these things that really meant nothing but she was letting mean something and it was beginning to work her up. She was losing the carefully constructed hold she had on herself, and she didn't like it. Because when that happened, she couldn't control what she said. Or what she did. And that was a terrible thing to lose control of when she was confused. Especially when it came to what she was confused about. Just stop it, Ana. Stop. This is just a meeting between two-coworkers. Even though they hadn't even started what they were originally here for. She ignored the sinking feeling of disappointment in her chest at the rejection of herself. It was the right thing to do. Too bad Nessa apparently had other plans in mind, because all too suddenly she felt the heat of someone else's skin against hers, and she nearly gasped, her eyes darting up to Nessa's face. She was slightly taken aback to see the woman staring so cooly at her, and after a second of struggle she was soon matching the expression. Calm down. It was just a touch. An innocent touch. So why did her bare skin suddenly feel on fire from the contact? Her breath caught in her throat as the suggestive words were tossed back into her court, and she had to focus so that her calm exterior didn't immediately shatter into a million unfixable shards. Don't look down at her licking her lips..... Okay, just a glance wouldn't hurt. Bad idea. Shit. Ugh.... "I was hoping you'd feel up to telling me, Nessa." Oh, no no no. There went her mouth again before her mind. No..... Her eyes danced jokingly, but she could have strangled herself right then and there. Had she leaned closer? When had that happened? What? Her entire body immediately reacted to the next set of words, and she had to basically shut off her imagination entirely before it could get too ahead of itself. "You read my thoughts entirely." What the actual fuck? Where was this coming from? She was flirting and making sexual innuendos with Doctor Vanessa McAdams. Oh my god. No. Wait. She hadn't just admitted that. Nononono. She was merely making small comments. Yup, that was alllll it was. Fuck.

Back when she'd been making her selections, she heard the groan coming from behind her. Instantly she felt an odd, unexplainable tingling beginning in the pit of her stomach, but she promptly ignored it. Why would such a sound encourage that sort of reaction? It must have been just nerves for how not-like-herself she was acting. "Everything alright back there, Vanessa?" She cooed in a soothing voice, glancing behind her shoulder in order to see what the problem was. And then she'd wandered back off to the table, simply nodding to the thanks she'd received. If she hadn't known any better, the look on Nessa's face was slightly different from the one of control she'd been previously used to seeing. Or maybe she was just seeing things. But no.. it definitely looked like something was going on there... But what? Just because she was having so many different thoughts and struggling with them, didn't mean her company was either. She was the only one, and she just had to face the facts. Sitting back at the table, she desperately tried to get a hold of herself. She couldn't make sense of everything right now; no, that was impossible. She'd have to do that later, but how was she supposed to endure the rest of the time with thoughts so vicious trying to become the center of her focus? She breathed in once as Nessa re-appeared, looking back to her confident self and making Ana second-guess ever having seen otherwise. She noticed the intense eye-contact and was soon all too willing in keeping the small staring game up. She refused to react as Nessa leaned in toward her, although her heart instantly jumped into her throat and all of the possibilities of what could have happened just then rushed through her mind. Damn it all. She was being offered a berry. Finally, she glanced down to what she was being offered, considering it. By the time she looked back up, the blonde was toying with a strawberry. And then biting into it... that wasn't the worst part. All of the inappropriate noises she made afterward caused the same reaction Nessa's groan from before had, but this time only worse. The stirring didn't stop in the pit of her stomach, but began reaching out into the rest of her body. It only strengthened when Nessa licked her luscious lips, and the word was quick to flash in Ana's brain before she could help it. Desire.

And her words, oh her damn words... Ana hadn't wanted to be the loser in this game, but she wasn't sure what to do. She was beginning to fall deep into the dark abyss of confusion, and she wasn't sure if there was any possible way out. No.. no.. "I'd love one." Her voice was strangely different from how it had been moments before. A sliver huskier, but barely so. She ignored it as she selected her own berry, her eyes shifting to rest back on Nessa's. She would not be outdone. No matter what it meant. She wouldn't. Slowly and very diliberately licking her lips, she brought the fruit to her lips. Savioring the sweetness, she let her eyes roll upwards for only a moment, lashes fluttering as she expressed her satisfaction of the taste. "Mmmm, it tastes so good!" She purred, the tip of her tongue again roaming along her lower lip. Her eyes re-settled on Nessa's as she took another bite, another small groan of satisfaction leaving her parted lips. She placed the green leaves to the side once she'd finished her small treat, and gently sucked on the tip of her finger to rid it of the juice. Her eyes never once leaving Nessa's. She wasn't sure what she was doing at this point, but all logic had flown from her head. She needed to get it back, and quick, but she was doing the best she could. "I'm glad I let you tempt me, Nessa." She taunted, her voice still silky. She was biting her lip without realizing it, her body leaned in toward the blonde. Not so subtly, although it was a slight accident on her part, her bare leg again brushed past Nessa's. "Whoops?" She whispered, giggling a second after. But by the look in her eyes, it was obvious that it could hardly be considered an accident. Helping herself to another strawberry, her eyes danced deviously as she spoke. "Whipped cream would certainly make this so much better..." She flashed a small grin, toying with her selection as she spoke. "Don't you agree?" Damn it all to hell. She was going to hell.
