| Kaylyn was done with her appointments for the day and there was plenty of time left to go for a jog. She got on a pair of jogging shorts and a purple tank top, threw her hair up in a high pony tail and headed to the dining area for a bottle of water on her way to the sports area of Shilling Lane. She got there and began stretching her arms and legs in preparation. Just as she was starting her first lap she saw someone enter the track area, she slowed her pace to allow the other person time to warm up so they could perhaps jog together. She came up to the man near the end of her first lap and stopped to greet him while jogging in place, “Wonderful day for a jog isn’t it?” she asked. | |

| It was time for his daily escercises and the weather couldn't be the best. Not like his mood, that was quite bad that day, hopefully the jogging and the weather would help him cheer up. Throwing on some shorts and a t-shirt, with a pair of jogging trainers he directed his steps towards the sports area, somewhat hoping to be alone, but also hoping to find someone there on the other side.
Fighting with his feelings he just walked there and realized someone was already there. As she stopped next to him he was about to kick her off with his attitude, but he thought she seemed to be quite nice, so instead of that, he smiled brightly as he stretched his mucles a bit. "It is, indeed" he agreed "Have you been here for long?" he asked.

| She noticed something seemed a little off about the man in front of her before he smiled, but attributed it to the stretch he was doing. “I’ve only been here long enough for stretches and a lap,” she explained. She studied his face for a moment to see if she saw what she thought she’d seen a moment before. “Up for a jogging partner?” she asked hoping for a ‘yes’ she tried to avoid being alone if she could. She stopped jogging in place while she waited for an answer, she was getting a little tired and sweating. She picked up her water bottle, took a drink and poured some water into one of her hands to put on the back of her neck hoping to it would cool her off a bit. | |

| Lucas smiled as he finished his stretchings quickly. One good thing about about his body was that he didn't need that much stretching before excersicing, the bad part was that he needed more than most people after excersicing, but he was okay with that. At the woman's question he smiled again. She seemed to be willing to make him company, and even if he had wanted to be alone, now having her company seemed to be good enough.
"Sure" he mused and took a sip of his own water bottle to hydrate his mouth and throat before running. "Let's go?" he asked softly waiting for her to start jogging together. The day was nice and the company seemed to be good as well. "How long have you been in the hospital?" he asked curiously. It wasn't like the best question to make a conversation, but he couldn't remember her.

| Kaylyn noticed that he had finished stretching quickly, but she hadn’t been paying enough attention before she had stopped to notice if it was anything out of the ordinary. She was glad that he had given her an affirmative answer to her offer to jog together, she was grateful for the company. She closed her water bottle and set it down. She nodded when asked if ready, and started out. He asked how long she had been here and it was anything but an unusual question and not one she had a problem answering either. “I’ve been here for about three years. Yourself?” As always any question she was asked was fair game to ask back, they were only making small talk after all. | |
